How To Take Care Of You!

As a lot of us are busy with school, work and commitments, we tend to not look after ourselves which is such a shame because our bodies do so much for us.
As of today I've decided to look after me, and the steps included in this post is what I'll be using.

1. Drink More Water
This is something I always forget to do! It helps for both our inner and outer body.
Water is important to prevent dehydration and helps the skin look clearer and healthier.

2. Excercise regularly
Physical excercise is something that is supposed to be done everyday for atleast an hour. How does looking fit and feeling fit sound? For both appearance and our health.. excercise has got you covered.

3.Sleep
Each night we are supposed to get 8 hours of sleep! Not only does it prevent bags and dark circles under our eyes but also helps improve the memory and spur creativity.
So sleep sleep sleep!

4.Eat Well
Put down the crisps and the fizzy drinks. By having a balanced diet.. You are lessening chances of high cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease etc.. Think of how good you'll feel and look too.

5. Take Time Out
Have some 'me' time and relax. Whether it's just reading a book or having a cup of coffee by yourself, it'll benefit your mental health positively. Yoga is good for relaxing too.

With just these few simple steps we can change our lives for the better and we may never look back.

Fashion Haul

Ah yes, I love this time where I post about what I recently purchased! I went shopping the other day and picked up a few things, let's just say I'm in love.
Without further a do lets get into it!!!

- H&M jumper! How cute is this? The pastel pink colour is just to die for! I've recently grown to love H&M, which I'm happy about because the clothes are so cheap there.

-Pull&Bear Love T-shirt! I've been meaning to pick up a few t-shirts because I always seem to pick up jumpers instead and this top has started my new collection. So cute.

-New Look Sandals! Seeing as I'm travelling to Italy with my class in May.. I've started to do a bit of summer shopping. How pretty are these babies? New look have brought in many cute summer clothing such as bikinis, shorts etc..

-Diesel High Waisted Jeggings! I'm a sucker for jeggings and high waisted bottoms, so this was a perfect match. Now paying the price of these was an investment because I know these will last a long time. Win-win situation!

How To Style Slip-Ons!

(H&M slip-ons €15)

I believe every girl should have a pair of these somewhere in their closet! Not only are they cute but also practical! In this post I will show you how to style your slip-ons with different outfit inspirations!

1- With skinny jeans!
Ah yes, the everyday look. Going for coffee with a mate? Or maybe running errands? No problem slip-ons can make you look stylish and comfortable! Slip on (excuse the pun) a pair of skinny jeans with the shoes, maybe a nice jumper like above and you're good to go!

2- Dress to Impress!
The fashionista Kendall definitely knows how to style her slip-ons! Wear a dress but to make it more casual for daytime go for your trusty shoes. If Kendall can wear it, anyone can!

3-Dungaree it!
Go for it like Emma, wear dungarees with a nice shirt under it or maybe a polo shirt. Emma manages to maintain a laid-back but sophisticated look which is why I love her! Turn up the ends to show off your fabulous shoes like Emma herself!

Review || Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation!

First off I'd like to comment on the scent of this foundation! It's so fruity and just smells so good.
As I said before in my makeup haul, I bought this purely out of curiosity because of all the reviews I've read(I'm a beauty blogger I do have to keep up with things duh).

The packaging is decent enough, I'm glad it has a pump because some foundations don't and that is just a nightmare. I'm forever dropping stuff so I'm hoping it'll be like my other foundations and doesn't smash! I'm not fond of the red colour on the bottle but I can get over that.

Onto the formula! It's not thick but it's not runny if you get me. It's easy to blend with and I used a stippling brush because I didn't think a buffing brush would do the job for this product.
This only came in two shades in Boots and I chose the lighter shade because my neck and face are pale, even this is too dark! I'm quite disappointed in that because I like everything else about this.
I suppose I could use this for night rather than day because I'd be bronzing up for night events!

To sum it up in three words I'd use; inexpensive, fruity, blendable.

How to get clear skin!

Source || edited by me

Hey guys! So nearly everyone has experienced some sort of breakout of spots at some point of their life. I decided to write this post because I have acne but I'm learning how to deal with it. By that I mean I can keep it under control by using the steps down below!

Skincare Routine
It's very important that you have a stable skincare routine! Cleanse, Tone, Moisturize.
I cleanse my face twice a day which is a necessity to get rid of all the oils and dirt clogged in the pores which causes breakouts in most cases. After I cleanse, I tone with a toner so it gets rid of any extra dirt stuck in there. Lastly moisturize! Your skin needs nourishing like the rest of your body, if you don't moisturize your skin will feel tight and won't look good.

Don't touch your face unless necessary.
You might not realise how much you touch your face every day but it's a big factor in breakouts.
Imagine all the bacteria on your hands that you can't see, landing on your face everytime you touch it. Disgusting. You will be surprised at the difference it will make to your skin!

Balanced Diet
No, I don't mean go on a diet. I mean eat a balanced diet with the recommended food we are all supposed to eat.Too much sugar can be a cause of breakouts! Also, drink more water...(we all should do this) Water can help skin become clearer and nicer looking.

Those are just a few guidelines that I found helped me so much with my skin! Please note that I'm not a professional, I am only giving my advice and sharing what made my skin better than ever.

Soft Spring Makeup Look!

Today's post is all about how to achieve this look, to be honest it's a very simple easy look!
I was lounging around and decided "why not post about my makeup?"
I'd say this is suitable for everyday, not too much but not too little either.
I'll list the steps of how I applied my makeup and what makeup I used.

Makeup used:
-Benefit Cosmetics the POREfessional
- Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation
-Collection Long Lasting Concealer
-Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder
- Seventeen Define & Conquer contour kit
-Rimmel blush in the shade
-Soap & Glory Arch brow tint & pencil
-Essence lash & brow gel
-Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette, 'Strange' and 'Dust'
-Benefit Cosmetics, 'Dandy Brandy'
- Benefit Cosmetics They're Real Mascara
-Benefit Cosmetics Boiing

Steps:
1- Apply primer to where it's needed, I applied it close to my nose because that's where I find my make up moves from.
2- Blend foundation into your skin, for this I used a Real Techniques buffing brush!
3- Apply concealer to cover spots, redness, dark circles etc...
4-To set our base, use a translucent powder!
5- next I contoured my face lightly so that it's suitable for day time and not too dramatic.
6- On top of the contour, I applied blush to my cheekbones and blended the contour and blush so there wasn't any harsh lines.
7- For the eyes I patted 'Dust' all over the lid, blended 'Dandy Brandy' into the crease and put a little bit of 'Strange' in the corner of my eyes to look more awake.
8- Then I curled my lashes and used a coat of mascara on them!
9- I filled in my brows and tidied up the ends with concealer to make them look sharp.
10- To finish off this look I applied some soft pinky lipstick!

Review || Define & Conquer Contour Kit by Seventeen!

How pretty is this contour kit? Very I'd say. I picked up this beauty from Boots!
I've tested this out a couple times and thought I'd give my opinion on it now rather than later.

I much prefer the contour side more the highlight simply because the highlight just doesn't show on the
skin when applied with a brush, maybe with my fingers it will but we'll see.
I find that the contour powder stays put for hours and doesn't stray off my face like the Benefit Hoola Bronzer. Trust me when I say a little goes a long way with this product because it is very pigmented.

It's small and compact which is great for travelling anywhere, fits right in my makeup bag.
Overall I'd say it is a great product for both the quality and for the price of it.If you're looking for a reasonably priced contour kit, this is for you... Just €7.59! Wow!
