February Favourites 2015!

It wouldn't be a favourites post if I didn't comment on how fast the month went by! So I'll say it yet again, how fast did that month go by?! Feels like only yesterday I was doing the January favourites post. I have a few more favourites this month than last month which is good because you guys have more to read and more for me to write about(haha).Let's get into it so!

First favourites of the month were both Sanctuary Spa products from a set I got from Christmas from my sister, which you can read in my 'What I got for Christmas' post! Sly little self promotion there.
I have been loving the both the Body Butter and the Velvety hand cream, my skin has been left silky smooth which is important in these cold drying months. What can I say, I love soft skin and good products.

Next is this pyjama set I bought in Tesco, I know what you're thinking.. 'Tesco?'
Yes! They have some cute pyjamas in at the moment I couldn't help myself picking up this Eeyore set for just €10.50!

Remember that review I did on the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water? Well it just so happens that it made its way to my favourites. For the few days that I have been wearing makeup this month, I have been using this to remove any unwanted left behinds. I've seen a difference in my acne prone skin!

That's all for this post, see you guys in the next post! x

Spring Fashion Wishlisht!

As Spring is upon us.. So is the fashion! I decided to round up a few of my favourite clothing items that I wish to purchase for Spring. Lets get into it darlings.

* River Island White Platform a Barely There Sandals- €60
These heels look clean, stylish and sophisticated. I'd wear this with a pencil skirt or even fitted trousers, crop top and a long coat for these cold days. I hope to pick these up the next time I'm shopping.

*Ted Baker Zip Crosshatch Crossbody Bag - €120.27
I love this bag! It's small, pastel and suitable for day-time use which is necessary for us girls.
A bit on the pricey side this one.

*Missguided Asymmetric Midi Skirt Powder Blue -€28
How cute is this skirt? I just love how it's not all the same length, one side long and the other short.
I think it would help make your legs look long and slender, which is what I like in a skirt.

*New Look Stone Ribbed High Neck T-Shirt -€11.99
Lately I am just loving the high neck t-shirts and this new look top did the job for me! I'd wear these types of high necks with high waisted jeans, casual but yet still stylish.
Can't wait to pick it up for such a great price!

Alright so that's my short wishlist for Spring! Let me know if you like these types of posts so I'll include them every so often.

Review || Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint by Barry M

Who doesn't love a good nail polish? Even for us nail-biters(yes I bite my nails, nasty habit!).
I picked up this nail polish in River Island around Christmas and I am in love!! No exaggeration.
Usually it's priced around €5 I think and it was on sale for €2...not bad ehh?

I picked up the shade "Blueberry" because just look at that blue! I'm not usually a blue lover but I think it was an in the moment purchase and now I'm glad I did! It dries quickly, easiy application for even those with short nails and has a nice shine once dry (it says it in the name duh Steph).

I am planning to purchase many more of Barry M nail polishes, love it love it love it!

Beauty Products I Regret Buying!

Okay so we've all got products that we regretted purchasing and that has been happening lately to me so why not write a post on it!

First is the L'Oreal Skin Perfection Velvety Soft-Toner! This was not good on my skin at all because my face felt dry but yet oily, if you understand me, and left me with red sunburn like patches around my cheeks! If this product is suitable for sensitive skin, then why not work on my sensitive skin?

Next is the L'Oreal True Match Perfection foundation (seems like I'm picking on L'Oreal today haha) and let me give advice to anyone with dry skin... Don't buy it! It clings to the dry areas like a moth to light. It just looks ridiculous on my dry skin with patches of foundation stuck to my forehead. If you have oily skin on the other hand, go for it!

Lastly is the Pheonix Beauty Glamorous Lashes! I disliked these the moment I tried to apply them, I know I'm not the best at lash applying but these were just too difficult and when they were on, they didn't blend in with my lashes like any lashes are supposed to do with a coat of mascara!

Hopefully I wasn't too harsh on the companies but this is my opinion on the products and I hope those who are looking for advice on the matter!

Valentine's Day Makeup

Hello again everyone, as we all know Valentines Day is approaching quickly and I have created a makeup look for the day! As I have noticed .. Valentine's is either a love/hate situation for people.
Some people think it's a cute day to spend with their loved ones and others believe it's utter nonsense, personally I don't mind it.

I kept the look quite simple because I count this as a time day look, but if you were to use this at night just add a darker shade lipstick such as a ruby red or dark pink.

On the eyes I used the Tattletell All  makeup set by Benefit Cosmetics, such a natural looking smokey eyes that is suitable for both day/night and because I was going for more attention on the lips ,this set was perfect.

On the lips I used two Essence products, the lip liner and lipstick in two completely different shades so it's sort of an ombré effect.

I hope you liked my look for this post, see you soon x

February Wishlist!

(Images are not mine)

It's that time again where I blab and blab about how much I want certain products or items..... It's my current wishlist! Okay I probably get way too excited over this but it's a must.

First product is Mac Mineralize Skinfinish Limited Edition in the shade 'Perfect Topping'.
Such a beautiful highlight from Mac's lightness of Being collection and priced at €30, I don't think it should be a miss!

Next product is Nars Luminous Weightless Foundation, I have read a few reviews that LOVE this foundation and I just have a feeling that I should try it. According to Nars, it lasts up to 16 hours so it would be interesting to see whether it does or doesn't.

How cute is this Michael Kors Sutton satchel? Now I know for sure I will not be buying this because I do not have €325 lying around but a girl can dream..

Lastly, I am doting over these Kurt Geiger heels!! Perfect colour for spring too.

Garnier Micellar Water Cleanser||Review.

Hello beauties! Okay so as we all know this micellar water is not recent news but I only picked it up recently because I was quite skeptical after reading a few reviews with mixed feelings. But I decided to take the plunge and I can't say how delighted I am that I did! I remove my makeup with a makeup remover wipe and then go in with some of this water on a cotton pad. Let me say how surprised I was the first day to discover the left over makeup that I thought was removed!! For some this might dry out their skin but for me (who has dry skin let me add) it doesn't. It has also improved my acne prone skin and I have not suffered from a severe breakout yet.
I bought this in Tesco for €4.77 which wasn't too bad I suppose.
